Enjoy over one week of action-packed powerboat and racing themed events at Lake of the Ozarks.
Schedule of Events:
Thursday, ; 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Lake Race Festival of Speed Location: Big Thunder Marine Showrooms in Lake Ozark Enjoy fast exhibits such as fast cars, boats, motorcycles and more. Parking and race team staging will be located at the old Staples building, which is now under remodel construction for an additional Big Thunder showroom. All parking will be located at Staples, shuttles will operate between 4pm and 9pm to transport visitors who want to be up close and meet the racers who have arrived by Thursday. There will be food snacks and beverages at the Big Thunder showroom on Bagnell Dam Blvd. Also the new showroom will be on display for folks to visit and see all the new boat inventory.
Friday, 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm: Lake Race Meet & Greet Street Party Location: On the Bagnell Dam Strip (Bagnell Dam Blvd.) Historic Bagnell Dam Strip | Race fans will experience everything unique about Lake Race. Meet driver and get up close and personal with the race boats. Entertainment and Kid's Zone! Shuttle service will begin at 4pm and be available throughout the weekend. All Lake Race Parking will be in the campground below the dam.
Saturday, All Day: Official Races & Awards Ceremony Location: Beaver's at the Dam; Race Course at the 0MM to 3MM Watch Power boats from all across the nation compete for their share of the money. Race viewing by land on Bagnell Dam and Beaver's at the Dam. Boats will run from the 0 Mile Marker to the 3 Mile Marker. Watch the races live online at www.krmsradio.com/lakeracestream.

Hot Summer Nights, a classic vehicle cruise and family night on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark. 6:00 - 11:00 pm (rain or shine). Free admission and participation. All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the Strip and cruise around. This kid friendly event offers games, activities, live entertainment and more.
How far can your dog jump? The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days again this year. Canine athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this family friendly event. For information on entering your dog contact Dog Days at 573-348-9797. Free admission.
The theme for this year's Stover Fair is “Country Nights and Carnival Lights”. The Stover Fair is presented as a celebration, giving family and friends an opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves. The Stover Fair Board is excited to present the events of the 2019 Stover Fair at the Stover Legion Memorial Park. This year's event offers three days of entertainment, games and displays for the entire family. As always, stage events and all fair board sponsored events are free. This event would not be possible without the donations of businesses, organizations and individuals. Please extend your appreciation for their support.
Lake Area Community Orchestra at West Lake Christian Church
The Lake Area Community Orchestra will again be staging one of its free Summer Concerts at West Lake Christian Church on Tuesday, June 19, beginning at 7:00 pm. Community members and visitors are cordially invited.
The 45 participants range in age from high school to the 70's and come from many communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks.
The concert should be of interest to young and old alike with a variety that includes marches, show tunes, dixieland, Bolero, and Victory at Sea.
No admission is charged, however donations are welcomed
